Eric G. Neilson, MD
Eric G. Neilson, MD, is Vice President for Medical Affairs and the Lewis Landsberg Dean at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Neilson trained in internal medicine and nephrology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. After 23 years at the University of Pennsylvania as the C. Mahlon Kline Professor of Medicine, chief of the Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension Division, and director of the Penn Center for Molecular Studies of Kidney Diseases, he moved to the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine as the Hugh Jackson Morgan Professor and Chairman of the Department of Medicine. Dr. Neilson has been at Northwestern since 2011.

Joseph Moskal, PhD
Joseph Moskal, PhD, is a professor of biomedical engineering at the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science. Professor Moskal is the Director of the Northwestern University’s Falk Center for Molecular Therapeutics, and has founded and served as chief scientific officer for two drug discovery companies spun out of his research at Northwestern, Naurex and Aptinyx, Inc. His past honors include being named to the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame, the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering’s (AIMBE) College of Fellows, and the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) 2017 Class of Fellows.

Lisa Dhar
Lisa Dhar is the Associate Vice President for Innovation and oversees Northwestern's Innovation and New Ventures Office (INVO) which includes The Garage and The Querrey InQbation Lab. Previously at INVO she was the Director of New Business Ventures and the Interim Executive Director of the Querrey InQbation Lab. INVO supports the translation of Northwestern innovations to the public and the development of the next generation of entrepreneurs. In addition to her work at INVO, she has taught in the McCormick School of Engineering and Kellogg School of Management. Dhar earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from University of Chicago and her doctorate degree in physical chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

William Slattery
Partner, Deerfield Management
William Slattery is a Partner on the Therapeutics team and joined the Firm in 2000. Prior to Deerfield, Mr. Slattery was a senior healthcare analyst for 10 years at Amerindo Investment Advisors, where he oversaw biotechnology investments. He has held various positions in research including those at National Medical Enterprises, Johnson & Johnson, and HMSS. Mr. Slattery is the Chairman of Gilda’s Club New York City, a non-profit organization supporting cancer patients and their families. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from State University of New York at Albany and completed coursework in Immunology at the Graduate School-New Brunswick, Rutgers University.
